The doctors at NYU Medical Center are doing a great job keeping Shari stable until a suitable liver is found. It has been tiring and rough going for her. Some days have been more trying, some others she seems a bit rejuvenated. Shari remains in intensive care and is still of the highest priority at NYU and in the region. We continue to hope, each day, that she will stay strong...and that the next day will be the one in which a liver is found for her. We again thank everyone for your ongoing support, concern, and effort. If you can provide immediate assistance in locating a potential donor, please contact us at (877) 223-3386 or email: [email protected].
I had the honor of working with Shari on the American Red Cross Save A Life Tour program (I was working at UniWorld at that time). Shari poured her whole heart into this project and I enjoyed working with her tremendously. The Save A Life Tour saved so many lives because of Shari's committment and dedication. I pray that Shari's life will now be saved. My prayers are with you Shari!!!! --Gina Washington

Shari,
You're in my thoughts and prayers daily. I've contacted just about everyone I know in the last 7 days to see where/how they can help. I truly wish I could do more. Keep smiling and stay strong. I look forward to seeing you soon.
Much Love,

My prays are with Shari and her family. I have emailed my friends and coworkers the shari flyer. I swam with her at Great Neck North High and graduated with her in 1992. May god giver her the liver she needs. (Susan Waleski Class of 1992 Great Neck North)

Shari,
I'm thinking about you and praying to hear good news soon. I log onto this website daily hoping I'll read some good news. Stay strong. It's been a lot of years since we last spoke, but camp friend bonds are strong. "Friends, friends, friends, we will always be."

My thoughts and prayers are with Shari and her loved ones every day. I know Shari from the Temple Israel Youth House. I remember her goodness, laughter and smile. It is not surprising she has been working to help others. I know everyone, everywhere is thinking of her and praying for her.

Hello, I am a resident physician at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and know that there are hundreds of liver transplants a year (almost one a day!) here. I was wondering if you had a chance to look into transplant opportunities here. God bless!

Shari,
You dont know me. I am just one of the many who have been following your situation. I am so glad that you have received a liver and I would like to wish you well. I just wanted to say I dont know much about your current condition but it might be a good idea for you to explore some alternative medicine at this point. Sometimes integrating all that is available to us helps keep us in the best possible shape. I am not employed in this area nor do I have any financial interest. It is simply based on my own experience and that of my family where I come to this conclusion. If you would like some guidance as to who to speak with, you may email me at my address.
All the best to you,
Lisa
